Navis Carrier Solution is the global market leader in loading computer and stowage planning software for ship owners and ocean carriers. The loading computer MACS3 and the stowage planning system StowMan help ship operators and owners worldwide to comply to the international safety regulations and cost-effective stowage while loading vessels in ports and on terminals.


  • You will be part of a customer support team providing 1st and 2nd Level Support for our products at our site in Flensburg
  • You will be able to give our customers support in technical questions arising for their use of our software and hardware products
  • You will provide support to customers mainly in the English language
  • You will be able to analyze/identify customer needs and prepare a solution by utilizing teamwork with other departments in the Carrier Products organization
  • You will be the interface between our customers and our software development group Customer support and requests will be managed using our adopted ticketing tool. Part of your job will be to manage the case life cycle with this tool
  • You will assist in the building up a knowledge database for our customers on our products and their use
  • Your work will help to raise quality standards and improve our products
  • You will participate in product training and the onboard commissioning of our products on vessels


   Education/Experience: You have a bachelor’s degree or training in a professional IT program. Best completed within a maritime environment (or) you have a strong maritime technical background, coupled with good IT skills and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems



  • You are familiar with Google products
  • You have good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • You have a strong customer orientation and are willing to travel
  • You are communicative and friendly in customer contact; patience is a strong part of your character
  • Teamwork and team orientation is one of your major strengths
  • Willingness to improve your skills continuously with in-house company training or appropriate self-study
  • Willingness to participate in 24/7  customer support if required in the future
