Position Description

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end-to-end, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. This individual must also work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints. The candidate will work closely with various business teams to create and build functional operational support through the Salesforce.com application. Candidates must possess the ability to understand business requirements and processes and build workable solutions in Salesforce.com


Location:
Chennai, India (preferable. Remote will be considered for exceptional candidates located outside of Chennai

 

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Must have experience in Configuration & Customization. Must be very strong in Rest / Soap API Skill Set Requirement: Salesforce.com , Visual force ,Apex classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Apex Scheduling, JQUERY , Data Loader ,Eclipse Force.com IDE,SOAP, REST Web Services
  • Ability to do Detailed Design Development using force.com platform and unit testing.
  • Coding guidelines
  • Database guidelines
  • Security guidelines
  • QA / Automated testing strategies
  • System Designs
  • Create, review, and approve system designs Deployment process (CI)
  • Measure results and optimize process as needed
  • Testing compliance
  • Review test plans to ensure sufficient coverage
  • Platform evangelist / Mentoring
  • Know technical support contacts.
  • Resolve platform roadblocks
  • Keep abreast of platform roadmap POCs
  • Architectural proof of concepts technical training
  • Evaluate and coordinate technical training options Communication
  • Communicate technical direction, strategy, and guidelines to team and management. Communicate roadblocks and impediments with management.Innovation
  • Research new technologies to constantly improve team efficiency and application development.Code Reviews
  • Responsible for ensuring code quality matches guidelines.
  • Process documentation
