  • Overview

    As the Senior Salesforce Admin, you will develop, maintain, and improve Navis’ Salesforce technology platform, including FinancialForce. You will use your deep Salesforce experience to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions and collaborate with Sales, Support, Services (FinancialForce) and Marketing (Pardot) stakeholders to ensure our Salesforce org is evolving at pace with our fast moving business. This is a full-time role based in our Oakland, CA headquarters. 


    The Senior Salesforce Admin will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Salesforce platform and for establishing a long-term strategy to improve usability, stability and performance. This position will be the liaison between business users and the technical team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business operations, and have deep experience deploying Salesforce and FinancialForce.


    • Requirements gathering and analysis
    • Deliver technology solutions by engineering and providing guidance in delivery of key initiatives for a global Salesforce platform
    • Act as a subject matter expert on all things Salesforce, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for the definition, planning, modeling, governance, and implementation of Salesforce capabilities
    • Develop a vision for transforming our Salesforce org from what it is, into what it should be
    • Work proactively to remove technical debt and security vulnerabilities
    • Communicates the business directives, goals, and needs to technical teams, and own the achievement of those goals
    • Oversee all Salesforce platform environments, and manage the development/release cycles while functioning as the lead administrator and lead developer.
    • Functions as Technical Lead, assuring that the technical direction taken leverages the capabilities of the platform to maximum advantage. 


    • Bachelors or Masters, or extensive experience
    • Minimum of 8 years Salesforce experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud), and Salesforce certified
    • Hands on with Process Builder, Apex classes and Apex triggers.
    • Use Apex Data Loader for importing and exporting large volume of records.
    • Technical exposure to CPQ, Quote to Cash, Pardot, JIRA, SAP, FinancialForce, Salesforce lightening and Communities
    • Comfortable communicating with business stakeholders
    • Desire to work independently in a fast-paced and high-growth team environment.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
