    We are seeking a skilled People Success Specialist who is passionate about people operations, HR, recruiting, supporting, and developing talent through our company’s policies and procedures. Our ideal candidate will be excited about being part of a team whose primary objective is to make Navis one of the best places to work.     • Own, lead and develop Navis’ Graduate and Intern Program globally
    • Ability to participate in the review, rollout and support of all People Success initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Continued involvement in and refinement of the people acquisition process, including generating job descriptions, reporting and providing support during the hiring process.
    • Ability to continually improve the design, maintenance, and report on People Success website, with
      predictive metrics and SLA
    • Compliance with all policies and legal requirements
    • Provide compensation guidance to people acquisition and business lines
    • Provide leadership to people operations team members as required.


    • BS/BA in business administration or relevant field. MBA preferred.
    • Successful work experience as a Human Resources Specialist, Generalist, Representative, or Administrator.
    • Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g. compensation, and benefits, recruitment, internships, university relations, training, and development).
    • Proficient in Google Suite.
    • Working knowledge of HR Systems.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.
    • Strength of character, ethics, and commitment, and reliability are fundamental to making this position a success.

    Additional expertise

    • Knowledge of SAP and Success Factors a huge plus
    • Knowledge of other HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Industry recognized HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute).

    • Based in Navis offices, Jack London Square, Oakland, CA
    • Reports to Head of People Operations and Acquisition
